What other web/e-mail providers are available?

If you aren't too sure where to go with your hosting, here are a few options. NOTE: Webiness doesn't recommend any specific service, but these are basic recommendations.

DigiTimber (www.digitimber.com)
DigiTimber is a Spokane based hosting company. They have offered to help move your site/e-mail/domain for free and provide a 10% discount (use promo code WEBINESS when signing up for service). Pricing includes hosting, e-mail, spam filtering, SSL certificate and nightly backups. If you have questions or would like to start a migration, contact Russ Lohman at 509-900-3044 or rlohman@digitimber.com.

Bluehost (www.bluehost.com)
Bluehost is a top-rated web hosting company with very strong uptime (99.99%) and fast speeds (406ms). Their pricing is very competitive and offer a wide range of plans. They also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Hostgator (www.hostgator.com)
Hostgator is another well known property. They offer a lot of unlimited “features”, such as bandwidth, storage and email accounts. They aren’t too shabby in regard to uptime (99.98%) and speed (432ms) either. Their pricing is similar to Bluehost. They also offer a free site migration tool, which might come in handy for those who don’t want to bother with the manual stuff.

Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com)
Go Daddy is probably the most well-known hosting company. They have decent priced plans and their uptime and speed is very comparable. But, they have very well priced plans but tend to “nickel & dime” you for services that many companies throw in for free.
