My email will not send.

There are two main reasons why your email will not send after you have confirmed all the account and server settings are correct.  The first thing to check is that the mail client is setup to authenticate when sending email.  This will be an checkbox in your computer mail client and on your mobile device is typically activated by providing the full email address and password on the outgoing mail server section of the account settings.

The second thing that can hold this up is when your provider blocks port 25.  This is a common practice for combatting SPAM.  If you go into the advanced settings of your computer's mail client, or your mobile device, you will find an option to change the port.  Set it to port 2525 and this will fix your problem.
