Additional Features

You can customize your server to enhance its security and performance by selecting these add-ons:

• Operating System
  You can choose from Windows 2003 Server, Fedora Core Linux, CentOS or your preferred operating environment.
• Databases
  You can add MySQL (free) or Shared or Dedicated MSSQL databases to your server. Shared MSSQL accounts come in 250MB, 500MB, 1000MB and 2000MB increments. Dedicated MSSQL accounts require a license, either purchase/provided by you, or under our SPLA licensing agreement with Microsoft.
• Control Panels
  If you would like a nice web-based interface to administer your server, or offer hosting to your customers, you can choose to have the Plesk Control Panel for Windows or Linux installed.
• RAID Arrays
  Purchasing extra hard drives in a RAID array is a smart way to help protect your data, by providing a redundant copy of your primary drive.
• VPN (Virtual Private Network)
  As an additional security measure, we can set you up on your own private VPN, to meet HIPPA guidelines, or any other security requirements you may need to meet.
• CDP (Continous Data Protection)
